FARGO – Allegiant announced Tuesday it will suspend its scheduled service from Fargo’s Hector International Airport to St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport for the summer.

The carrier’s suspension begins May 18 and is expected to be lifted in December. Customers with affected reservations will be contacted directly by Allegiant for a full refund.

The other four routes Allegiant serves from Hector – nonstop service to Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Orlando and Phoenix-Mesa – will not be affected.
