Parents are Mr. and Mrs. William F. Widgins III, Chesapeake, Va.; and Dr. Jonathan L. and Mary Dickson, Fargo.

Attendants were Caroline Carter, Alexandria, Va.; Valerie Wilson, Pittsburgh; Mary Catherine Abernathy and Lawson Abernathy, both of Victoria, Va.; Dr. Nathaniel Hope and Abby Churchill, both of Madison, Wis.; Dr. Timothy Dickson, Omaha; Dr. Michael Dickson, Fargo; Savion Hertz, Sunbury, Pa.; Christine Churchill, Phoenixville, Pa.; Julie Churchill, Davenport, Iowa; and Nolan Dickson, Ames, Iowa.

Tara graduated from James Madison University with a bachelor’s degree in health sciences, mathematics and biology. She received a doctorate of physical therapy degree from the Duke University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in orthopedic physical therapy at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, where she is as assistant director of clinic education. She is also pursuing a doctorate in higher education at the University of North Texas.

Matthew graduated from Fargo South High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from St. Olaf College, Northfield, Minn. He earned a medical degree and a doctorate from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine Medical Scientist Training Program. He completed his residency in internal medicine and the clinical portion of his cardiology fellowship at Duke University and is performing post-doctoral cardiology research at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.

The couple will make their home in Addison, Texas.
