Event to match families, special kids planned

FARGO – A rock star- themed party aimed at matching families with kids in the Adults Adopting Special Kids program is scheduled from 1 to 4 p.m. June 7 at the mega shelter at Trollwood Park in north Fargo.

FARGO – A rock star-themed party aimed at matching families with kids in the Adults Adopting Special Kids program is scheduled from 1 to 4 p.m. June 7 at the mega shelter at Trollwood Park in north Fargo.

It is free and open to the public. Events will include karaoke, a photo booth and refreshments.

The AASK program is a collaborative effort of Catholic Charities North Dakota and PATH, ND. Children in the program have been in foster care and are unique with special concerns including being of a minority race, older, in a sibling group to be placed together or they have physical, emotional or psychological needs.
