FARGO – One of the best high school wrestlers in the state of Minnesota is headed to North Dakota State to wrestle in 2015. Wheaton High School junior and four-time state champion Cameron Sykora verbally committed to wrestle at NDSU on Wednesday.
FRAZEE, Minn. – Without a word of discussion, the Frazee-Vergas School Board voted unanimously this week not to renew its contract with the high school wrestling coach who was suspended this year for kicking a student.

LAS VEGAS – North Dakota State sophomore Josh Rodriguez, who sat out this season as a redshirt, won his 132-pound Greco-Roman weight class at the FILA Junior Nationals in Las Vegas last weekend. He also added a fifth-place finish in freestyle.
OKLAHOMA CITY – North Dakota senior Steven Monk advanced to the semifinals at the NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships today, earning a pin against Josh Veltre of Bloomsburg in the quarterfinals at 165 pounds.
