Sheila P. Kummeth, 75, died peacefully at Villa Maria in Fargo on Saturday, July 5, 2014 surrounded by her family and under the care of Hospice.
Sheila was born on December 12, 1938 in Fargo to Charles and Clarice Jones. She attended St. Mary’s Elementary and Shanley High School in Fargo. After high school she worked as a pediatric aid at St. John’s and St. Luke’s Hospital.
Muriel Geneva Sampson, 93, of Fargo, ND passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Elim Nursing Home while under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.
Muriel was born October 11, 1920 in rural Colfax, ND to Gilbert and Marie (Fiske) Wien. She was baptized and confirmed at Our Saviours Lutheran Church, and graduated from Colfax High School in 1939. She went on to attend Nursing School at St. Luke's Hospital in Fargo and received her RN in 1943.
William Biggerstaff passed away on July 5, 2014 in ManorCare Health Services in Fargo, ND at the age of 56.
Bill was born on December 23, 1957 to William T. Biggerstaff and Dolly Melendrez in Peoria, Illinois. He graduated from Elgin Illinois High School and was the owner of a local business where he worked since 1983. Bill loved sports, especially the Bears and the Chicago Cubs and NASCAR.
Josephine Oletta (Brenna) Noss, 96 of Hatton, ND passed away peacefully on Friday, July 4, 2014 at Hatton Prairie Village in Hatton. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 2:00p.m. at Hatton Prairie Village Chapel in Hatton. A visitation will be held one hour before the time of the service at the chapel. Interment will be held at the St. John Cemetery, Hatton, ND.
Josie is survived by 2 daughters: Marie (Bernie) Breidenbach, Reynolds, ND, and Janet (Dan) Brennan, Dawson Creek, British Columbia, Canada; 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, 3 brothers, 2 sisters, 2 sons and a grandson.
Leroy William Warren, September 28, 1947 – July 5, 2014, born in Deadwood, SD, to Chester and Lucille Warren, died in Fargo, ND at Sanford Medical Center.
Leroy was raised in Lead, SD, and graduated from Lead High School in 1967. He was in the US Army, serving in Vietnam from May 1970 until March 1971. After leaving the Army, he worked at Homestake Gold Mine in Lead and at Schlumberger in Gillette, WY, before moving to Fargo, ND to work at The Woodchuck Repair and Restoration from 1990-2011. He purchased The Woodchuck in 2011 and continued working there until an hour before his death. He is survived by Nance Warren, his wife of 43 years; sons, Eric Scott, and Nathaniel Lee; sister, Claudia (Mike) Verdun; uncle, Kenny Nelson; and numerous cousins.
